This is a quilt for a former Rotary exchange student. She was hosted in my city a few years ago. Definitely one of my favourites, which is saying something as I’ve been quite involved in youth exchange since 2006, when we were a host family for the first time. I will be seeing her on a visit to Austria in December.
The quilt is made from various Canadian fabrics. I machine quilted it myself. I have not yet mastered free motion quilting, so did this one with straight lines. It measures about 60″ wide by 70″ long.
